His will - Luke 22:42 "Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me. Yet not My will, but Yours be done"

As we kneel before some of life's greatest challenges, we need to receive the peace of God that will stand with us and for us through all circumstances. I am reminded of the scene in the passion of the Christ, that I believe had great impact on many people. It is where Christ is faced with the certain understanding of what he is to face in the hours and days ahead of Him and in that moment, having full understanding of His purpose to take on the burden of freeing all mankind from sin, He prays to His Father asking if there is a way for this burden to be removed from Him, however He says to His Father, let Your will be done!

Many times in life we get faced with moments where we pray to God to remove certain burdens or situations from our lives and possibly even blame Him for these situations or struggles we might be faced with, but it is in these times that we truly need to turn to Jesus and exalt Him for the price He paid for us. These times that we get faced with have purpose and we need to ask our Father who loves us dearly to let His will be done, so that we do not go through times in life in vane without the purpose or will of God being fulfilled. Know that God is with you and only wants the best for you, so trust Him and understand that the current pain of your circumstance will bring forth much reward if you turn to your Father in heaven and ask Him, to let His will be done in your life.

Prayer: Dear Father God, Forgive us for those times when we look to our struggles and tribulations with dispair and selfishness as we forget that Christ paid the price for us, for which we are truly grateful. Thank you for Your grace that is so amazing and allow us to know that these difficult times, too will pass and we ask that Your will be done in our lives. In Jesus' name Amen.
